Tika-tika Toolbox

Here's a toolbox of tika-tika rhythms!

In your toolbox, you will find:

• A page of rhythms in 2/4 metre,
• A page of rhythms in 3/4 metre,
• A page of rhythms in 4/4 metre.

Each page has:

• 5 rhythms - 1 bar in length featuring tika-tika
• 5 rhythms - 2 bars in length featuring tika-tika
• 5 rhythms - 3 bars in length featuring tika-tika
• 5 rhythms - 4 bars in length featuring tika-tika

In addition, on each page are suggestions how to use the rhythms. In summary,

Teaching note: This resource was designed to come after teaching the rhythmic elements: "ta", "ti-ti", "too" and "sa" and before teaching "ti-tika".
