"Shenandoah" is a great song for teaching Mixed Metre.
Useful for late practise of the rhythmic elements "tum ti" and "ti tum" (dotted crotchet quaver; quaver dotted crotchet".
Can use to prepare and practise melodic elements "fa" and "ti".
