Haydn's Round

This is a fantastic 3 part canon for secondary students!

Use it to:

  • teach chromaticism
  • concentrate on intonation of less common intervals (e.g. augmented 4ths and 5ths)
  • practising the rhythmic element 'tum ti'.

N.B. flattened 'la' can be known by different names. Commonly called 'lor', this song spells it 'law'.
