Chop Chop Chippity Chop

Use this fabulous rhyme in so many ways! For example:

• 'Chop' on the beat alternating hands. (Great for beat work in 6/8 time!)
• Have students choose a vegetable (or name one from a picture) and then they can clap the name of the vegetable and figure out how many syllables it has.
• 'Accumulate' vegetables in a list at the end of the rhyme for memory work (to prepare for remembering rhythms and melodies for dictations!) Instructions included in download.
