Biddy Biddy

This Jamaican Singing Game is great for:

  • Having fun!
  • Preparing and practising the melodic element 'fa'.
  • Working with the rhythmic element 'syncopa' (semiquaver-quaver-semiquaver / sixteenth note-quarter note-semiquaver).
  • Using to teach about rhythmic diminution and augmentation - where every rhythm is halved (diminution) or doubled (augmentation).

The game can be played with a toy key, an actual key that's no longer needed, or one of the pictures of a key that is included in your download.
