Time Signatures (Simple Time - Missing Bar Lines)

  • For students who finish putting in the missing bar lines and complete the bars early, you might like to instruct them to write the solfa above the notes for the first set of questions. For the completing of the bars question, students could make up their own melody to the rhythm and write the solfa above.
  • With students I know will finish early, from the beginning I instruct them to write a melody as they complete the bars of rhythm and begin to memorise their melody ready to sing for the class
