Marching

  • "Marching" is a great song for preparing and practising beat.
  • The teacher or a chosen student can be the "leader" and can march around the classroom with everyone following or you can march to and from the music room!
  • You might like to change the words to "walk", "stroll", "creep", "jump" etc. for variety!.
  • Can be used to teach "ta" and "ti-ti" as well as preparing and practising the melodic element "do".
