I've Got A Car

This is one of my all-time favourite songs for engaging middle to upper students.

It's great for:

• Inner hearing.
• Checking how well students have internalised a steady beat - do they get faster in the sections where words have been taken out?
• Checking if your students can internalise pitch - do they sing in tune when they come in after sections where words have been taken out?
• Singing in pentatonic scale.
• Teaching the melodic element 're'.
