Right Feet Left Feet

This rhyme can be used:

  • To teach the rhythms "ta" and "ti-ti".

  • As an Improvisation Game: Replace "In the main street of town" with names of streets in your town. E.g. "Running up, running down, In Jacaranda Street".

  • To Practise Beat and Rhythm: Alternate students walking on the beat and walking to the rhythm.

  • To Practise Dynamics: "Big feet" can be forte, "Little feet" can be piano.
