Plainsies Clapsies

This fantastic ball game can be done with any number of children - even one child!

It's great for:

  • co-ordination
  • use as a brain-break (even for older children)
  • working with the melodic element 'la'.
  • working with the rhythmic element 'triplet'.
  • fun!

Teaching suggestion: while this game is traditionally played with a ball, you can use anything that can be easily caught that is not breakable; eg a scarf or a soft toy would also work. If using a ball, larger balls are easier for young children.
